Mfgr needs to provide instructions instruction. You wil not be able to install item with the Teflon o- rings used on each end of this piston. My transmission mechanic recommended replacing with OEM part which are no longer available

This is the design of accumulator you want in your Torqueflite transmission. Not only does it seal much better than the oem plastic units, but it also prevents metal to metal contact in the bore, eliminating loss of line pressure over time. Sonnax is truly a great innovator in the transmission world.
