I lost hot water via the electric side of our Dometic water heater. After using a multi-meter to determine where the power stopped, I determined that the OEM relay was bad. Ordered two of these, one as a spare. Installed and was back up and running. Cheaper fix than calling out an RV tech. Its been about two years since the install with no issues.

Hot water heater was not working, and tried two or three other things before this. A friend of mine who repairs campers recommended that this could be the problem. I ordered it and it came quickly, only to find out that there were two wires that somehow became unspliced that I didn’t notice sooner. I installed this new piece and put the wires back in place. I have a feeling the issue was just the wires, but I am now using this new part and it works just fine.
