Excellent option in lieu of factory parts and a great price. Additional damage to the “steering plate” where this hardware mounts was easily repaired after mounting this kit adding a thick washer at the pivot hole. Locking the rack plate “in place” with the bolt and nut in the center hole allowed me to weld the washer in place giving the rear pivot hole a new “center”. Steering works perfectly after removing the lock bolt.

I replaced the original steering components on my 2003 L130 with this kit at the beginning of summer. The aftermarket parts are cheap and already need to be replaced. Mad at myself for having to redo this repair job for a second time this summer. Spend the extra money and buy OEM at your local John Deere dealer so you don’t have to replace it twice in one year. The JD parts are made in USA (see pictures in review). JD gear GX20052, JD pinion GX20053.

parts fit fine and worked great for two weeks. Gear is soft and just falls apart. Now have to redo the job after 2 weeks. A real bummer.

This product is not worth your money!! The original steering gear on my L130 lasted 530 hours, this replacement one lasted less that 5!! Unfortunately, it failed after the return window so I am only out 25 bucks! do not waste your time with this , just go buy the $80 kit from your local Jon Deere Dealer.
