I love washing my car. I like getting every detail down to spotless crystal clear glass and dark black tires. I’ve tried many different types of products from big name brands, over priced hyped items, to lesser know items. To me this kit fits somewhere in the middle of just OK.
I decided to give this kit a try because of the hard-nosed, grime cleaning, off road dirt and debris monster slayer that it is market to be. Well, I drive an elantra, so take it at that….
What I liked: the soap was pretty great. It offered a very slick application to the surface of my car as I was cleaning it. I could tell it would reduce the chance of me putting swirl marks because of this.
Micro fiber towels. Can never have too many clean towels these were good.
Bucket: easy to store products in. Another option to apply soap and water and use as a wash bucket.
Wash mit: comfortable one of the best I’ve used.
Tire/wheel cleaner: it worked really well but I used about 20% of the bottle on my 17″ tires. I feel like after 2 or 3 more washes it’ll be gone. It goes on thin where some if the better ones I’ve used foam up and sit on the tire and wheel better.
What did strike me as not having much value is the brush. For my application, not using it on off road vehicles, it is too soft to scrub tires but to stiff to use on or near painted surfaces. It would probably work well on dirt bikes, the grooves of off road tires and other places where mud and debris gather.
What is didn’t care for: the touchless pre soak. I used about 4 oz in a chemical guys foam cannon using a chemical guys power washer. It didn’t impress me with the foam. It was too watery which had me thinking, in order to get this thick, I’d have to use a lot of product. Didnt seem economical. But, the biggest disappointment was when I sprayed it off all the dirt and grime was left intact as if I did nothing. To be honest I find that presoak foam cannon stuff to kind of be a gimmick. Everything I’ve used in a foam cannon does very little.
I have not used the surface cleaner or exterior protectant yet.
For $125 you need to like all these thing. Slick did a nice job packaging an all in one kit that is colorful, bright, smells pretty good and is marketed towards off road weekend warriors. However I’d rather piece my own kit together for that price.

My truck sits parked on the street partially under a tree that gets both oils/sap from the tree and birds pooping on the hood and roof. The touchless pre-soak wasn’t touchless as they claim as the sap and the oils from the tree as well as bird poop still had to be scrubbed off with a towel after soaking. The kit comes with 11 pieces, but the lid and the bucket counts as 2 of the 11 pieces as well the 2 microfiber towels. As far as cleaners you’re getting 5 bottles of cleaning product for the current price of 125. The price seems a little bit on the high side so I deducted one star not for the products effectiveness, but the value of the product to price point.
The bucket is nice and sturdy and can be used to hold the products or as a general purpose bucket around the yard or house. I have a heavy duty diesel truck, but never take it or off-road or get it heavily soiled driving almost exclusively on freeways and city streets. To get my truck or other vehicles sparkling it always helps to have a set of good cleaners to remove oxidations or buildups from the paint and other surfaces prior to applying any waxes or sealers.
