Installed on an 05 RAM with a Cummins. Pros: many wiring options with the holes and sleeves provided, capable of accepting the factory 0 gauge wire without issue. Cons: the smaller Allen screws are poor quality and weak, the smaller Allen wrench is too small for the Allen screws and stripped out the weak screws during install. Overall, still worth the purchase price.

Perfect upgrade to my terminals when I hooked up my amps and whatnot. They are gorgeous looking, thick and heavy. Love them!

How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean:
1 STAR – Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could.
2 STAR – It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again.
3 STAR – It does what it was designed to do, but there’s nothing really special about it. It’s acceptable but not great.
4 STAR – I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again.
5 STAR – I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to to do the same.

All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid Amazon shopper, as well as an Amazon Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.

I bought these to add a second battery to my vehicle and help power my aftermarket stereo system.

I like that these terminals accept up to a 1/0 AWG cable. Most car audio amplifiers that produce 1000 Watts and more require that sized and even larger cable to power them.

These battery terminals will fit a battery with standard sized connection posts. ( most common )

They have a middle connection that will accept a smaller wire if you wanted to power something that draws a lot less amps such as just a 12V power access point or similar. You just need to remember that connecting to that means that whatever you power from there is HOT or energized at all times including when your vehicle is turned off as it is a direct connection to your cars battery.

With these terminals I can add a second battery and then feed my subwoofer amplifier directly off the second battery. That’s my intended use for these. ( all while charging it from my high amp alternator and main battery under the hood of the vehicle. )

replaced my OEM connectors with these and i have to say the look great have a heft wieght to them and lots of extra ports.

Really heavy duty looking and solid metal construction so would handle a good deal of current with little issue. Has a thin insert for shimming smaller posts or easy replacement when the connection surface starts to degrade. The plastic covers would help insulate from short circuits and keep the terminals clean and free of grime. Install was decent just need wrench and a hex key. My battery was a little harder to install on as the posts were recessed in a corner and took a little more work to install but would still work.

    Works great

Holding up well, though the clear cover on one doesn’t quite fit all the way down due to the set screw on one of the bigger cables. Never thought about terminal covers as a safety feature. No need for a terminal end, thus one less connection to fail. Not sure if I will need another set for a bigger cable, as I have an amp that I will install. For general use I don’t want to use anything else as these are holding up very well thus far.

This battery terminal set is fantastic! It comes in a plain cardboard box with two terminals, two covers, and two hex keys. The terminals have two large and two small cable ports, all with set screws to retain the cables. The part of the terminal that slides over the battery posts has a removable brass insert to fit different diameter posts.

Installation is fairly simple. The hardest part is removing the old terminals to expose the bare wire. I used a rotary tool to cut the sides of the crimped on copper terminals and then peeled them off the wiring. Most battery terminal cables are short so I didn’t want to just cut the old terminals off the cable.

After the factory terminals are off, you can use pliers to bundle the strands tightly and then insert them into one of the cable ports in the terminal. The included 5mm hex key is used to tighten the larger terminal set screw. The smaller key is a 3 or 4mm and is used to tighten the smaller set screws.

When you have all cables in place on the terminal you can place the terminal onto the battery post. You need a 6mm hex key (not included) and a 14mm wrench or socket (not included) to tighten the terminal to the battery post. Then you can snap the clear plastic cover back on.

Neither terminal or cover is marked as positive, so you may want to mark them if you are not sure you will remember which is which.
