I kept having issues with my boat battery being dead after it sat for a month or more. I found that the stereo, amplifier and other electronics I installed continued used a small amount of power even when they were powered off. After this happened a few times the battery capacity had been greatly decreased and lead to it being replaced. I added a small solar panel to trickle charge the battery when it was in full sunlight, but this wouldn’t work while it was in storage. The boat battery was in a difficult spot to get to so I decided to install this disconnect switch on the battery post to completely disconnect the battery preventing the discharge. It uses a small wireless remote to control the switch and can be used from up to 50 feet away. I also use this anytime I leave the boat at public docks to prevent theft. The only disadvantage is that the radio station memories and the clock reset each time I use it. But for the most part we use a Bluetooth connection to play music from so that’s not much of an issue.

Works great got this because when you travel out of town a lot of crooks tend to try an break into your car.
Now whenever I park either at home or away I’ll be able to kill the battery and know they’ll not be going anywhere without a lot of hassle!
I removed my standard car latch and replaced it with a custom lock mechanism, you can only open it by pushing an electronic button inside the car, but if there’s no power, it won’t open.
Comes with installation instructions and everything you’d need to get it installed.

I ordered this due to a parasitic drain on my truck I was struggling to figure out although I eventually did.
Easy to install and works like it should! I’m glad I have it in case I have future troubles with battery drain or if I ever go somewhere and will leave my vehicle unattended for a week so the battery doesn’t die by the time I get back. It’s easy enough to install and remove as needed.

This will work well on a side post or Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. It comes with two short jumper cables and a connector to connect up to the ground cable. I tested the range from which the remote will control the switch. It worked from over 50 feet away. The switch is well made and has M8 connector lugs. That’s about the same size as 5/16 just different kind of threads.

This 12 V relay is exactly what I needed for my motorhome so I could shut off power to it remotely. As you could see in the photos is extremely well packaged, and it arrived very quickly from Amazon. It looks like the product was made from an extremely professional company that knew exactly what they were doing. It came with two key fobs with batteries already included. The connections are incredibly simple and they included post mount hardware in case that’s the type of battery that you’re currently using. My battery is a bolt type connector so I will not need those. Very nice that they were thoughtful to have included those. This item should be able to handle up to 250 A which is far more than what I will need it for so I expect the durability to last an extra long time. I took detailed photos of all the items that were included. Please look at the photos and I’m sure everything will be self-explanatory with the included directions in the photos.
