Overall, an excellent choice to keep your screen safe. The alignment tool is by far the best I’ve seen. Although it is still possible to get bubbles, they are easy to remove by lifting a corner and waiting for a moment, then slowly setting it back down. Positioning, however, is absolutely perfect. The size of the protector is also very good, fitting just up to where the radius starts on the screen. Having an overhang there would make it possible to get dirt stuck or catch a sleeve and pull up. The inclusion of a rear protector is also very nice. Although there is no alignment tool for that, it is much easier to get right by hand considering the size.
The silicon edge protector, I feel, is unnecessary and just makes everything look worse. I’m far more concerned about preventing scratches on the screen, as the edges would be hard to damage anyway. That being the case, the only true negative is that the screen protector is somewhat grippy compared to the Tesla’s screen. It could use a low friction coating or something.

This screen protector kit includes two protectors – one for the main console and one for the rear screen. Installation was straightforward, and the included applicator tool made aligning the main screen protector effortless. There’s no applicator for the rear screen, but it wasn’t too difficult to apply.
I was able to install both without any bubbles or dust. The glass feels smooth and responsive, with no noticeable impact on touch sensitivity. The clarity is great – the protector is practically invisible once applied, preserving the screen’s sharp display. It also does a good job resisting fingerprints, so I don’t have to wipe it down as often as I expected.
As for durability, I haven’t had to test its protective abilities yet, and hopefully, I won’t have to.
The included silicone edge protector feels unnecessary. In my opinion, it cheapens the overall look rather than adding any real benefit.

NOTE: In the Tesla manual of it absolutely states you should not use a screen protector. You can find this information under your owner’s manual navigating to Overview > Touchscreen > Caution Note About Screen Protectors
The internet debates this point as you can imagine, but the manufacturer is clear that screen protectors over your factory screen is NOT covered. With that being said, this is a review for a screen protector and your time is valuable so I will just provide the important stuff up front including Pros and Cons with my thoughts at the bottom. My car model is a 2025 Tesla Model 3 Highland.
Pros
– Installation kit includes everything you need and is easy to use
– Fit is perfect on both protectors
– Definitely tempered glass and appears to be fairly scratch resistant
– Alignment tool for the front screen is good and holds well
-Crystal clear and basically not noticeable aside from the fingerprints
– Rubber bumper is good for protecting from side impacts to the glass
– Cleaning is easy with a microfiber towel
Cons
– Screen lacks any oleophobic coating so finger drags do not feel smooth unless your hands are dry
– Back screen protector does not have an alignment tool so you have to line it up yourself
– Instructions are “fine” but if you’ve never installed a screen protector before the instructions don’t offer enough detail
– Rubber bumper is a matte rubber rather than something a touch glossy making it attract lint and hurt aesthetics
My thoughts after installation:
Installation Process

They nailed the basics: the protection is there, all the tools you need are present, the items inside are protected so they shouldn’t be cracked on arrival, the cut is precise and the alignment frame is pretty exact making alignment trivial. It’s more in the details that things seem to get lost with this product. Following the included instructions rather than a good video install you could miss some crucial things. For example, the installation includes alcohol wipes to clean the screen. Alcohol wipes are not the recommended cleaning item for fingerprint treated glass as it can break down the coating of your original Tesla screen. You’re better off using VERY slightly damp microfiber towel and wiping it down and then drying it off immediately. They include dust stickers but no guidance on how to use them properly. For example, placing a dust sticker on the screen but not pressing it down fully may not grab the particle. So when you just press the sticker lightly to the screen and pull off you may or may not have gotten the dust and you won’t know unless you inspect super closely or until you actually install the screen protector. As someone who went through 3 screen protectors trying to protect an iPad these details being missed can make or break the customer experience for installation. I was meticulous and it still took me about 15 minutes to ensure I got it all with the driver’s side air vent blowing. I had two larger bubbles at the end of the install but the squeegee did a good job of removing them. I would recommend that there not be picture based instructions and instead a QR code to a good video install. Smaller paper, less waste,
Oleophobic Coating

I cannot stress enough, ANY oleophobic coating from the factory makes a screen protector feel better to use compared one without. Finger touches are completely fine, but finger drags, like swiping up or down into drive or reverse, actually just drags. Perhaps I got a bad one, but my gut tells me none of them have this. With that said, you could add it yourself for an additional cost. Those ceramic car finishes, liquid screen protectors or oleophobic kits all would offer a superior touch experience if applied to this glass. Truthfully if it had this coating from the factory and I didn’t need to add it myself I would have given this 5-stars; it is that important to me.
Glare and Clarity

The back protector is fine and will protect the rear screen from fingerprints and potential impact from kids being kids. It is also not treated for fingerprints so will very likely need frequent cleaning to clear smudges. Also, there is no glare reduction on either of these. You can see in my photos how reflective it is so this will not reduce glare on your screen. They do disappear once installed correctly though so definitely impressed with their clarity.
Rubber Bumper

Last but not least: the rubber bumper. This one seems to be polarizing for the other reviewers. Not a lot of people see the benefit and I guess I could understand their hesitation to use it. It isn’t the prettiest and it really takes some effort to smooth it down and make it look pretty good wrapped around the screen. However, it does serve a very crucial purpose: blocking side impact to the tempered glass. The rubber bumper will absorb impact from edge impact from things like rings, metallic zippers and other items you might get in your car with and accidentally hit against the edge of your car screen. Is it better to break the tempered glass and replace it rather than the factory screen? Absolutely! But will the rubber bumper make that even less likely? Definitely. I think if they make it look more appealing, like giving it a slightly darker or glossier look people would think it was more in-line with the vehicle’s aesthetic. I will admit, the matte rubber is not glamorous but I plan to correct this with some Armor All wipes for rubber and be done with it. So bottom line: I am glad they included it and whether you choose to use it is up to you.
Do I Recommend it?

I cannot directly recommend this product due to Tesla’s manufacturer warnings against screen protectors. During my time using it I did not encounter ghost touches or strange behavior from the screen. But that is not an indication of anyone else’s experience with this protector. I would never want this review to be a reason someone tried this and had a different experience than I did. I am going to keep this on my screen for now to test it further. I am one of those people who screen protects all the things and I don’t fully understand the nuance in which they believe the protector can be harmful. I will use this until I can get a firm answer on why it is not recommended (which I will add to the top of the review should I discover it).
For the things this protector doesn’t get quite right there is plenty it does very well. It will protect your screen from scratches and impact, it will be crystal clear and it will be easy to remove when the time comes. The other things it doesn’t do as well is the reason I removed a star. I hope this helps someone, please be careful driving and before purchasing this or any other screen protector please look into the manufacturer’s warning!
