I was hesitant to buy this part because some reviews were not so encouraging. But I bought it anyway and I am glad I did. It’s been 6+ months since I installed it and my Jeep Compass has been running great, no issues, and the fuel consumption has improved considerably, it went from 28mpg to 33mpg.
Also, the price is a loooot better than buying from AZ or advance.

Trouble shooting a throttle issue. It fit fine but wasn’t the issue. It was the spark plugs that only had 28k miles.

My Jeep Patriot was going into limp mode randomly. After research, all signs pointed to the throttle body. Bought this replacement. Great buy for the price. Installed in about 30 minutes. Problem solved.

The throttle body is a simple drop in replacement for any vehicle. Some throttle bodies need to be “trained” so they will work with your car. Typically this training procedure is available through a online search. This particular throttle body did not work on my vehicle. It would not keep a steady idle and the engine ran even more rough compared to the dead throttle body that this was supposed to replace. Training procedure did not work. Ideally for my vehicle the throttle body should just drop in and work without training. I ended up using a different brand throttle body and it worked perfectly.

Changed in my 2014 jeep patriot and have no issues since was not easy to put in but once I got in glad I saved so much on this part

Pretty much the same as the oem throttle body. Fairly easy to install. Car definitely runs better than before with the old dirty one that was on it
