Good Fuel pump for the money

First install on 2003 Envoy, gas tank would overflow and threw a emissions fault on the dashboard. Had to drop the tank a second time and installed a fel pro gasket. From the image you can see the Fel pro on the right, more substantial than the one supplied with this pump. I also used Perma-seal orange on the gasket contact surfaces.
I kneecapped the spring assemblies in the pump as I felt I had to stand on the pump to get it into the tank and turn the lock ring. I used a Dremmel with a small grind wheel to cut the spring about one inch down. (dont do with gas in the pump)
Now no overflow and no emissions errors. Otherwise seems like a good pump.

The fuel pump was under pressure at N point of installed. The old pump wasn’t, but it works fine!

I crossed the Delphi part number and this one matched exactly. For the price I was skeptical but this product works great.. Beat the 250 to 300 price I was getting.

Fuel pump was bad, couldn’t send it back because it’s been negative degree weather and kind of impossible to change a fuel pump in that kind of weather and when it did get changed it doesn’t work, so I’m out $40 thanks package came in a box inside of another box that was sent to someone else
