I’m setting up a solar charging station in my yard for LiFePO4 batteries and although it has been working great so far, I wanted some extra cable length to be able to keep the batteries out of the sun away from the solar panels themselves. The cables my starter kit came with work, but they are pretty short, and of course an extension cable is the ideal answer, but I’d been scared by conflicting advice about loss of current depending on wire quality and added cable length and such.
Well, I gave these a try and had no problems at all. The amp current from my charge controller to the battery was measuring 2.04 (40-watt panel equivalent) and after using these, the 6-foot between the panels and charge controller and the 3-foot between the controller and battery clip cable, I got a reading of 2.04 amps- nothing had changed! I was very happy.
Since then I did have one time when the output had dropped by an amp- I took the cables back apart and reconnected them and it was fixed, so make sure your connections are good and tight, don’t get hasty and sloppy, but if used correctly these did exactly what they were supposed to do and caused no loss of current strength for me at all. Now my batteries can sit happily in the cool shade while my panels are out in the hot sun. 5-stars!

Working exactly as expected. I needed an extension for one of the solar trickle chargers I purchased and this has been working great for 3 weeks now.
Extremely great for the price online and no issues at all.
Definitely recommend.
