Ever since I purchased my camp trailer, I had an issue with my trailer brake shorting on my controller. I replaced the magnets and they weren’t perfect again. Great value for the money and they work as described.

The quality of these feels to be compatible to the original Dexter magnets. Some after market magnets are noticable smaller than the Dexter brand. These are comparable in both size and weight. They fit well and came with a new clip and spring, braking performance seems to be on par with the Dexter originals.

It was a perfect fit, brakes very well, and cheaper than replacing the pads and magnet. Just overall a lot easier to deal with than fixing the old brake.
The current consumption during breaking was good, pad engagement with the drum was good. The included fasteners are reasonable quality, fit, and easy to use.
Make sure you’re getting the correct right or left side. While the brakes will function going backwards, they are manufactured for one side or the other and it’s important to use the correct side.
Used on a camper trailer – one of the two 3,500lb axles.

Fits and works as expected. Much easier to replace entire assembly for like new performance rather than mess with the individual components. Hardware was included as shown. 10/10 would buy again.

The electric trailer brake magnet was a perfect replacement for my Dexter 10″ electric brakes. The magnets had failed and these have a matched resistance (3.2 Ohm) and seem to pull well. Came with all the necessary parts to mount.
Don’t forget your waterproof crimp or solder fittings – these magnets do NOT come with any (neither do the Dexter OEM replacements).
