I like the looks, but radio reception went from about 10 stations to 1. I live in a rural area and the nearest radio station is about 15 miles away (which I still can get). The next nearest is about 20 miles in the other direction, and it’s like it never existed. I have another brand of stubby antenna on my other Jk Wrangler and it’s the same story. If you live in a big city with numerous local stations, you’ll probably never notice. If you live in a rural area and still listen to the radio, you might want to find another form of media.

I love this antenna. It is sleek and durable. The antenna is metal does not bend. I live in a country area so the reception is not 100% if I am in an area with a lot of trees. In city areas the reception is great and super clear. Easy to install and delivery was fast and on time.

I put up before and after pics. I like that it blends better and is shorter. Better reception than my stock antenna. Easy installation. I’m not sure what the size of wrench to use for either antenna but I do know that the stock one was smaller than the aftermarket. I used a small crescent wrench instead. Easy on and back on.

Super easy to install, literally plug and play. I wasnt able to get in the radio station I prefer once i switched it, however i usually dont listen to the radio anyway, so i really dont mind. Just be mindful if you are a big radio user you may lose a little (i like one from 90 miles away). It looks great though and is VERY solid!

Great solid antenna. Picks up radio as good if not better than stock. Also the smaller height works great with the car cover as I no longer need to remove from vehicle before covering and its beefy, doesnt have much of any flex to it. Would recommend this antenna if looking for a good quality stubby replacement.

Pretty easy to install once I found the right tool. Reception is good, haven’t had any issues. I like that it’s much shorter then the stock antenna, makes my Jeep look cleaner.

I rarely listen to regular radio, so I wanted to get rid of the giant whip antenna that comes stock on the JL. That being said, I have not noticed any difference in reception with this antenna versus the stock antenna. The antenna fits well, and looks nice. It is just barely visible from the driver’s seat.
My only issue is that the description of this antenna states the antenna is flexible. It is absolutely not flexible. It is a solid metal rod. My fear is that if this antenna catches on something, the antenna, or the antenna mount in the body will break. Granted this is a low profile antenna, but I’m a firm believer in Murphy’s Law. I may purchase a similar antenna, but one that has some flex to it.
