Doesn’t lay flat like you’d expect it to – has a long lever underneath the red LED face, and the whole assembly moves back and forth, rather than the face simply tilting. I guess that’s how they get it waterproof cheaply. As a result it didn’t really fit the application I’d gotten it for. Build quality is OK, though I’m not sure how waterproof it would be in practice – the locking ring to keep it in your dash or box doesn’t have a rubber grommet, so there’s a good chance of water getting in behind it.

The package did not come with a wiring diagram – Picture in add is Wrong. It actually is showing two different terminal for the “hot” wire and the ground wire. In the picture showing the connections across from the wires , the gold terminal as the Load, middle silver terminal as Power and third terminal as ground. Below that is a schematic that show the gold terminal connected to the (negative) ground terminal , the middle terminal connected to the positive side of the load and the remaining terminal connected to the positive post of the power supply.

This was a direct replacement for a switch that went bad on me. It is good quality and has good snap when switched on and off.

There is nothing bad about the switch itself. I used it on a snowblower to control lights. But the wiring diagram in the pictures is incorrect and just plain bad. Middle position is hot, silver is switched hot, and the gold is to ground if you want to illuminate the switch. Use a DMM to confirm.
