Easily installed. Fit great. Seemed to be better quality than original. Was a little learning curve on the first one, but the second one was quick. Instructions were easy to follow. Had to borrow a ball joint seperater from O’Reilly’s.

They are twin tube shocks if you did not now, very well-built but for the price there are a heck of a lot better ones out there. The shock “return” is slower and you will feel it for sure. In my opinion they are equivalent to a OEM strut , not an upgrade from the OEM at new condition. Great for do it yourself as like me . Plan on a couple of hours each side And there are three different ways that I know of that you can disassemble on the F150, YouTube is a hell of a thing lol. I saw these without removing the upper joint in which that is responsible for part of your alignment, truck drives fine if you do it that way. My 2018 F150 STX had an alignment performed before I put these on So I chose not to take the upper join off it adds about 15-20 minutes of your time each side. It is suspension, Every bolt and spec count. No special tools required, if I can do it anyone can change these. I will not purchase again as I feel they are overpriced for what they are they are solid built I just don’t like the dampening compared to KYB same price point, Rancho MonoTube, and Belltech Street Performance (my Personal favorite brand) don’t let the street performance fool you as they are a shock with a twin tube design (twin tube Agreed for tellingGood for towing, And any other thing you can throw at them, they will need replaced service interval what I found for the F150 to me around 30 to 40,000 with my driving) (monotube are stiff and perfect for off routing they will last About the same service interval as a twin tube depending on the brand you buy and if they are sealed or not refillable like most
Shocks. Rough country does make a good monotube Just thr price point for what they are is high. I hope this helps somebody out there this is just my review on them. Oh and they do look good on your truck too.

Very happy with improved handling after installing these on 2014 F150 4WD with 90,000 miles. Installation was a lot harder than changing struts on my van and car, especially since I also installed a leveling kit.
