RC does get a bad rap. But I have been impressed with their shocks. Step above factory and won’t break the bank either. Most of my customers do hwy use and lite trails. That’s what these shocks excel at. If your gonna do serious off-roading/rock crawling then They aren’t for you and I can understand why people trash RC. Every shock has a purpose but for the mall crawlers and daily’s hands down value for the money.

Simply put… Super happy with these shock absorbers!

This is the review I left for the rear shocks, but it applies to the front as well.
Rough Country should fire their shipping department. Instead of being sent the rear shocks, I was sent front end steering linkage for a completely different model of jeep. Then, instead of getting the proper front shocks, they sent me the wrong design. They eventually sent me the correct rears, which I installed, but the quality seems barely better than my 15yr old stock ones which have 160k+ miles of heavy hauling. I doubt I’ll try (again) to get them to send the correct front shocks. Also not sure if I’ll keep the rears.
This is all the more frustrating because I started the removal process expecting to be sent what I ordered. Now this project is dragging on, and I can’t drive my vehicle, thanks to repeatedly being sent the wrong things. I’m staying away from RC, if I can’t trust them to even send the right parts, how can I trust their quality?

Had on Jeep for 6 months now and they seem good.

I did a lot of research and these shocks seemed like the best value and quality. I replaced the original shocks on my jeep that were 10 years old and man, what a difference it made! They even make my jeep ride a bit higher because the old ones were so blown out. Highly recommend.
