Gave me roughly 2.25 of lift. Sits level with my add a leaf. It’s rides stiffer than stock but it feels fine, I did install myself along with a new cv axle took about 4 hours. I was worried it would lift higher since I have a 4 cylinder regular cab but it was just a little extra

Incomplete instructions for a DIY install. It can be done but consult a Toyota tech first. Many issues to be aware of that are not addressed in the instructions. Have two floor jacks ready, and prepare to be sore for a few days after…

For the price, this is a solid kit. The beauty of these is that the front strut comes fully assembled so you drop out the existing stuff and bolt this up. They are pretty beefy units and seem well built. I opted for these over the Bilstein 5100’s for the ease of install (5100’s need the coil to be disassembled, strut assembly put back together, etc and I was also on the original coils with 200k miles). However, do note I gained a solid 3″ of height on my ’07 Tacoma Access Cab. My belief is that the 2″ listing assumes a 3rd gen which are already 1″ higher from the factory in front than a 2nd gen.
As far as the ride, its good. Not soft like the TRD Off Road its more of a TRD Sport type setup. Handles larger dips and humps very well, can be a bit firm on smaller stuff but not overly jarring. Overall, I’d recommend if you need/want to remove your coils and have a rather straightforward bolt on kit but just note the height expectations when buying. If you do want to keep your coils, the 5100’s are an excellent choice.

Fit my 09 fj perfectly and looks great the ride is around the same as stock as far as comfort goes and the ride height actually gone up 4 inches from my old sagging stock suspension
