Easy to install, met my expectations.

Fit perfectly and look just like the originals. I ordered these but the day before they arrived one of the originals ( 2002 Ford Ranger ) broke. Installation was straight forward, with a simple and methodical approach. There is a washer between tailgate and mounting bolt which can slide out of place. Bolt head is a torx head either 40 or 45.

These are the correct length and fit a 94 Ranger. Like others have mentioned, the cables aren’t as thick as the originals, but if you’re shopping for these, your originals are breaking/broken anyways.

Works great fits well on my Mazda 2000 b2500 truck only thing is that the original bolts are long so kinda sticks a lil bit out but works well and doesn’t bother with opening or closing tail gate. Definitely needed it and it works
