I installed it but probably didn’t need it. Wouldn’t recommend using ethanol gas. This fit perfectly and mounting hardware was perfect. It runs off the cam so I’m not sure it was the problem. One note. When installing, I had to suck the gas with my mouth to get it primed. My arm was wearing out from pulling the cord. It’s much faster to pull the gasoline to the pump.
