Does exactly what you’d expect; allows you to disconnect the battery when not in use. Easy enough to install if you have even a slight understanding of basic electricity workings. Used it for my pop-up camper’s new diy electric winch setup. Not only does it save battery life/electric consumption, but it also adds an additional safety feature. When I’m inside the camper with kids running around the campsite, it’s nice to know that they can’t just press a button and accidentally crush me for anyone else that happens to be in there. We all know kids love press and buttons, both literally and figuratively.

Installation was very easy and straight forward. It works exactly as intended for my application. My Rv has a small draw on the battery that will drain my battery within a week or two if I don’t disconnect it. Now I can easily disconnect and reconnect the battery with this, and my battery is fully charged when I need it. Well built, works great, and I would definitely recommend it.

I initially made a small mistake during installation, but after revisiting the leaflet and grasping the logic behind it—voilà! It worked like a charm.
The setup is genuinely simple. If you’re experienced with car DIYs, it’ll take you about 10 minutes. For beginners, maybe 20 to 30 minutes tops. Once installed correctly, the convenience of remotely disconnecting the battery is amazing—especially useful for preventing battery drain or as a theft deterrent.
One important tip: make sure to fully charge your battery before installation, as a weak battery can complicate things. Also, note that a battery charger won’t work while the switch is engaged—you’ll need to disconnect the device to charge.
Overall, it’s a brilliant little gadget that’s easy to use, efficient, and brings peace of mind. Highly recommended!

This remote battery cutoff is an excellent choice as a vehicle immobilizer, or to shut down the battery system on a car, truck, boat, utv or other vehicle. It makes the vehicle safe to work on, allows you to turn the battery system on and off without being under the hood, and also keeps anyone from using your vehicle. It works as advertised. It is easy to connect. I would advise that you do not disconnect a running vehicle with this battery cut off unit. you might exceed the max amperage. I have used it on my bass boat to prevent my sons from taking the boat without my knowledge, and it works every time. They don’t know why the boat wont start.

Update: I have had no issues for roughly 2 weeks. After installing the unit I tested starting my truck and had no issues. Went out and started my truck like I do every other week, and my alternator started to smoke. My alternator is now dead, and needs to be replaced.
A remote battery disconnect that will disconnect a battery remotely. It still has a draw on the battery, as it uses the battery to power the disconnect, but it very little. I have this on my 90’s truck, the radio is reset after each disconnect. I rather deal with the radio reset and have the truck start, than the battery be dead every couple of weeks.

The Beysen “Remote Battery Disconnect Switch with Feedback, Battery Cut Off Switch 12v 250A, car Kill Switch Anti-Theft for Car, Truck, RV. (Disconnect Negative)” works very well and was easy to install. I have a vehicle that we keep as a spare. At times, it will sit long enough that the battery runs down. If I let this happen too often, it will ruin a good battery. With the cost of everything doubling and tripling in price, this disconnect switch is necessary. It works great. I like the remote so I don’t have to open the hood. Just get in, hit the remote, and start up. You could even use it as an anti-theft device.

I’m really happy with this remote battery disconnect switch. I installed this on the battery of my boat, and it works great. I love that I can kill all power to the boat, to prevent battery drain, with the simple push of a button. Installation of this switch is very easy, even though the instructions could be better. The range of the remote is good, and I love that this kit comes with two remotes… so I have a backup in case one should fail or be lost. I have no complaints at all, it works exactly as I hoped that it would, and it’s a great addition to my boat. I think it’s a good value for the money – I’d buy it again.

I bought this so I could have a battery disconnect that I can control remotely. I made an emergency water system to provide water to my house in case of power failure(I have a well). I use a 12v RV water pump, a 12v 100ah LipePO4 battery, and a 100 watt solar panel, all mounted in a roll around tool box. In just about 5 minutes I can roll this out to my pump and connect it all into my plumbing system and water storage tank, and have running water. I bought this disconnect so I can separate the battery completely from the system to prevent any parasitic drain on it. The distance from my house to the well is within range of the remote’s operating distance, so I can simply turn it on and off from any room in my house.
