- 1-1/4 inch width x 1-5/8 inch height Oval Port; Chevy V8 -Small Block 262 – 400, 1-1/4″ x 1-5/8″ Oval Port, For Raised Weld Bead Headers , 2/Set
- Exact Match to Hedman Header Pattern
- For use with raised weld bead headers; additional sealing material is provided around the weld bead to provide a better seal
- Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite
- There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts

These are the best header gaskets I’ve ever used. They deform to fix any minor defects in the header or head. Torqued to spec and haven’t had to mess with them since. Will update review if anything changes.

The one and only header gasket to buy. Second engine and second time using remflex gaskets and they are the easiest to use, always seal and last without having to retorque. 10/10 recommend them to everyone, worth the few extra $$

This isn’t a review as much as advise . If you need to trim/port match, don’t use a razor blade sa was suggested. I found a way to do it safely and accurately. Bolt the gasket to the head with all 6 bolts, Just tight enough to hold then inplace. Then use a round file ( forward strokes only ) If you draw the file backwards, you WILL ruin the gasket.

They compress, seal great and don’t need re-torque. They are delicate and break easily, so be very careful when installing. If you need to remove the header you wont be scraping stuck on gasket either. They peel off nicely and any residue comes off easily.
