This rebuilt starter fit a 2015 Honda Civic perfectly. It performed as hopef gor and has continued to do so as of this writing. The unit appeared to be well built and was shipped in a solid cardboard box with adequate packing.

The starter works just as it should. There are comparable alternatives for half the price, but non that I could get my hands on as quick as the next day. If I wasn’t in a rush to fix the car at the latest by Sunday, in order to use it on Monday, I would have gone with a cheaper one from ebay, but this saved my butt.
I planned to do work myself, thinking it’d be easy on a Civic. It wasn’t. It’s not a complex job in terms of details, but there’s hardly enough room for a toddler’s hands, and next to no way to see what your hands are doing.

thank god I had this unit tested at a local auto store before wasting HOURS of time installing it. The unit FAILED right out of the box. Some things really should be bought local, and this is one of them.

10/2023 : Exact fit 12 Civic LX 1.8. It is hard to remove. The location is hard to reach. One bolt is on the back. Barely seen the hex bolt head. Took long to remove. The installation is relatively easy.

This is a good product gor my car running for sure. it’s not the easiest thing to get in but when is a car part? make sure you have jacks and jack stands if doing yourself.

Product is sound, came in on time and is quality only thing is I feel it doesn’t start as quick as I’d wish. I don’t mean sluggish or wint start I just wished it would be a little more instant. Than what it is.
