Since this installs under the back of the truck, washing the truck is recommended before installing.
It is made like the factory connector and mates up good.
Great for adding a LED under the tailgate light bar or other light needing a 4 pin connector.

This item was not an exact fit for my vehicle. It inserted into the wiring harness just fine but the loop back to the trailer was not long enough and I had to purchase a extension.

Apparently it requires a factory installed tow package wiring harness to plug into

Product said it was for a 2002 dodge durango 5.9 magnum. The plugs were not the same at all.

I WAS INITIALLY UPSET, AS IT DIDNT FIT, HOWEVER WHEN I WATCHED AN INSTALLATION VIDEO, REALIZED IT WAS MY ERROR AND THE INSTALLATION ISNT BAD

The Reese Towpower 85253 T connector is the right fit for my 2003 Dodge B2500 van. Dodge doesn’t carry one and trips to Auto Zone, Advanced, NAPA and Pep Boys proved fruitless. This is a good product and shipping is quick.
