- ✔ BOLT-IN SYSTEM – This Hood QuickLIFT System is designed and engineered to use existing locations for our vehicle-specific mounting hardware.
- ✔ QuickLIFT PLUS (ALL BLACK SYSTEM) – All of our installation hardware is designed to last and we spare no expense on the details. First, we zinc plate all steel-mounting hardware, then each bracket is also black powder coated for the ultimate in corrosion protection. QuickLIFT PLUS includes black gas springs. There is a four-year warranty on all QuickLIFT PLUS components.
- ✔ BLACK GAS SPRINGS – The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application. Gas strut orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood bracket) and extending rod attaches to lower ball stud.
- ✔ PROGRESSIVE-RATE GAS SPRINGS – Redline Tuning gas springs are not off-the-shelf parts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Easy to install, fit perfectly and makes the car feel more premium when I am working on it.
Tim and Tamie –
The kit came in well packaged in a card board tube. All parts are well made and fits perfectly. Installation took just about ten minutes. The hood needs to be lifted about 12 inches before the struts take over. Similarly, when closing the hood needs to manually lowered from about the last 12 inches (as the struts give up) to prevent the hood from slamming shut. Wish the struts were a bit stronger giving it a 4 star because of it.
Update – Changing my rating to 5 stars. The hood does not need to lifted 12 inches before the struts take over. Similarly when closing the struts do hold up and not slam the hood down. The struts needed to be exercised a few times ( hood opened and closed) for it to start working right.

The struts arrived days earlier than expected, packaged very well and with clear color instructions in
unbroken English.
With a few tools most backyard mechanics would have, the install went without a hitch, and compared to the cheap ones I had before, these look like they will last quite a while

Buena presentacion de producto, pero los anclajes del capot solo se colocan en un solo perno, doblan un sello de goma y genera una leve palanca en la bisagra al querer cerrar el capot, el anchaje del tapabarro son de buena calidad y presentacion. The instructions are coloful and came in a plastic bag

I’ve used their items before and continue to be impressed and happy. Cost a bit more but they are made and sold by a USA company vs knock-offs that are cheaper and made in China. These are nicely done and raise the hood in a very progressive manner, they aren’t going to overpower it and cause it to Jump Open.

Very easy install, took less then 5 minutes. No drilling no mess no fuss. Directions are outstanding, as is the product itself. I bough mine direct, it was $10 cheaper. Was delivered the next day. You will have to raise the hood slightly to get the lift to attach to the hood. Great product….

Excellent materials and workmanship.
I particularly like the soft open aspect where the hood raises at a good speed and slows in the last few inches for a nice soft open, no abrupt stop at full extension.
The clear and included thorough instructions with pictures made the whole process a breeze.
