The oil plug does not have a vent hole and has no way to release pressure that builds up under normal operating temperatures. After 200 mile trip inter wheel seal was blown.

I thought a seal was out but I replaced my old cap with this new cap, gasket, and plug and it does not leak anymore. Glad I tried this $16 fix before I went to the expense of new seals. Back on the road again and all it cost is $16. It has a vent hole in the middle of the cap that only opens when it needs to.
