This stuff works for Bondo and Bondo-type products. The large tubes you get at the store(Home Depot/Lowes/etc) are only 2.75 oz and these are 4 oz, but the same price. And even though since the supply chain issues were pretty much resolved, it seems you can only get the blue creme at the store(the pkgs have stickers saying, “Same product, now in BLUE”, but I have old packages and the ingredients and order are different), the red hardens faster than the blue. If you want another 30 seconds of working time, get the blue, if you want it to set fast, get the red.

Worked just as well as the Bondo hardener at a much lower cost. Also, this hardener is red and based on what I’ve seen most of the Bondo hardener is now blue.

Red hardener. Tried ordering it through other channels and kept getting blue. Not good. While it all “works”” the same, color change is VERY helpful when mixing certain fillers. Short strand fiberglass is one. It used to come with red – now comes with a tube of blue. Order this one – you will get red.
