I didn’t answer everything because I have yet to use it. I will say it does seem to of pretty good quality and I would expect it to work well. I will try and update my review after I use it.

We used it for a slide out on our every that wasn’t done right when it was made to keep water out. It works perfectly now. The adhesive was a waste for us though. It doesn’t stick at all

I was unsure about the tape on back side. talked to an RV expert & he said only use the wiper seal with the 3M tape..I cleaned off all glue & old rubber with alcohol . He also said to use a Styrofoam block up against the slider & gasket all the way down the seal & run the slider up to the Styrofoam after installation & let it there for 1-2 hrs. It seems to hold very well for now, only time will tell. The rubber material seems well made. I would recommend this wiper seal, as long as you clean & prep the surface & use the block of foam to compress the seal for 1-2 hrs…

This item works well. Previously my order was placed in another post office box by mistake making me think the product had not been delivered as stated by Amazon. Finally it shows up in my PO box. I used it to cover a gap in door fitting to prevent water from getting in door lock interface. Works well and will purchase again for other rubber sealing needs on my RV. I recommend this product.

Seal seems to be of high quality and does the job, however the adhesive didn’t work for me at all. I used a clear silicone adhesive in addition to the supplied adhesive, and it worked perfectly.

In other websites, they recommend a 3M primer with this seal strip. I bought the primer and it worked great. The rubber strip is very securely attached. I had a little bit of the strip left over and I tried putting it on the RV without the primer, although I did clean the surface. It did not last very long, so use the primer! Oh, clean the surface with acetone before applying the primer.
I used this to replace the side seals on a slide-out on a 2021 Heartland Mallard RV.
