I had a problem with the rear wiper chattering. I thought it may be the motor shaft, but searching for that, I found this arm and for a much lower price, I thought I’d try this. It fit and works perfectly. The hardest part was getting off the old one. I am pleased with this purchase and happy it works right.

My partner had been complaining for a while that her rear wiper had fallen apart. I finally took the time to search here for a new blade. Upon searching, I found that the entire arm and everything could be replaced for a very reasonable price. The spring in her old arm had worn out over the years and was not wiping the glass clear so it was time to replace it anyway.
I’m so glad I decided to replace the entire arm! It works just like new now and clears the glass perfectly like when it was new! The new arm is an exact match to the old OEM one. The only downfall is that the boot that goes between the arm and the glass is all faded and old, but I knew that was not included with this purchase. The boot does still function perfectly, it just looks old and tired.
I highly recommend replacing the arm if your wiper is skipping parts of your back window. The spring gets weak and no longer applies enough pressure. This replacement works perfectly.
I do recommend placing a piece of blue tape on the glass along the old wiper as I did before removing the old arm. The shaft is not indexed, and it would be difficult to get it at the correct angle without marking it before disassembly.

Installed on my 2008 Pilot. Used a painters tape to find the angle before tightening down. Not sure how long it will last, so far I’m very happy.
