My originals from my 2005 truck were not far from failure and stretched further than I realized. Made my tailgate feel like new with these and new latches and strike bolts. Good value and work great.

Bolted right on to replace rusted and broken original cables. May have to add washers to it for better fit, but as for now they fit.

The black hardware looks nice. Cables seem to be the same thickness as the ones that came off of the truck. Works as it should.

I changed them on two trucks and both sets worked beautifully and was very easy to accomplish. I know now that the previous ones were rusting underneath the coating and would have eventually failed
