I bought this for my 2002 ford explorer. Left side passenger window. The part seems to be of good quality and was easier than I thought it would be to install. However… upon completing the install and going to close my door I found that it was encountering resistance of some sort. I pulled the door apart again and put my phone inside the door to see what it was hitting. It was hitting the door part that holds your door open. The window device was installed correctly and the door device had always been there. I ended up removing the door part to avoid breaking the window device. Maybe this is not the right piece for the 2002 explorer or maybe something else was off. Who knows!?!?
