This item arrived in one day. I am not an especially gifted mechanic, but it took me about 10 minutes to switch the parts out. It is important to know that, once you remove both supports, that liftgate is VERY heavy and can come down on you if you aren’t careful. There are clips at each end of each strut that can be disengaged with a screwdriver to allow for the removal of each ball and socket joint. After the replacement, those clips are snapped back into place to complete the installation. Easy peasy, and they work perfectly!

Decent quality for the price, the installation was very easy and accurate to size, 2011 honda crv. They lift well, but sound and vibrate a little at the end, but they donthe job and hold the weight.

Very quick to remove the old shocks and then push on the new ones. Said it required two people, but it was very easy to do alone. Opens and supports the rear hatch great.

Yes fits Honda CRV perfectly. Simple removal of old ones and easy install of new ones. 2 person installation makes it safe and easy to replace. Small flat screw driver and rubber mallot needed to complete the 10 minute job. Great quality and price. My wife is happy now. 🙂

A perfect fit! Although, it came with minimal instructions, it all made sense when installing.
It is recommended that two people assist to make sure tailgate does not close. But I was able to use about a 1× 4 inch x 4 foot board to prop up gate through process. Minutes later tailgate won’t be falling on my head no more!
