So, disclaimer, I don’t use this on glass regularly. I haven’t found anything that works well on glass besides invisible glass aerosol. And it’s okay on trim. There are better products that do those things… same reason I don’t use 3 in 1 body wash.
You do not need to use a lot. If you have a car bigger than a sedan, obviously you will.
Paint wise? Wow. I’ve used many different spray detailers, quick detailers, you name it, anywhere from $10-30 a bottle. This stuff is the most resilient I’ve used, and is NOT a replacement for actually ceramic or graphene coating your car. Obviously your mileage will vary depending on how thoroughly you wash and how often you use your car… I thoroughly go over every inch of my car every time I wash it.
On my last wash, it had been about a month which is the longest I will ever go in between. Car was sitting through some snowstorms, drove through a good amount of road salt and sand, the typical New England experience. I brought it to the self-service car wash that I always do (soak, power washer and/or hand wash is a must) after this long, and I couldn’t even get the water to stay on the car. My car is nearing 6 years old and the paint isn’t perfect from the previous owner, but wow. Easily a month or longer this will keep your car GLEAMING and anything will come off with a quick rinse or just a wipe. The paint is literally a mirror, for quite a long time, not like a quick-shine product which has impossibly high shine for 2 days and it’s gone. I hate to say it but I would pay much more than they charge for this product to get the same results.

have looked at the bad reviews and anticipated the problems. The one I got was made in 2021 so I guess all the issues I saw were sorted out. Works very well as a glass cleaner and I have no complaints about that area. The beading? well, the water beads but doesn’t strike me as hydrophobic enough to impress me. Maybe it’s just because my car hasn’t experienced rain that’s strong enough to demonstrate its ability. Overall, it’s a product that I would gladly recommend.

Lasted about a weeks worth of rain. Regular Rain X lasts much longer. I think this product wipes off much more easily with the wipers than the original. Im going back to the old. This did work for the week of rain but then back to normal a few days later.

Terrible product not even close to OG RainX. I applied this to 3 vehicles and yes, water beads a little, but it doesnt run off as it should. I ensured the windshield was clean and stripped, and even tried again. I had some of the real RainX left over so after the second attempt was no better, a few sprays of OG and im back to shedding rain.
Dont buy this. Its awful. Just get to orginial.
