I bought this to try on the helicopter windshield for rainy days. After a full season of use, I feel I can give an honest review. A couple of things to note. I don’t find I get any glare issues on sunny, cloudy or smoky days either. Seems to help getting the bugs off too which is an added plus.
It works amazing, and turned lousy rainy viz days into near sunny conditions. It was actually laughable how much the visibility improved. Even the customers remarked at how the rain just poured off the sides of the windshield!!
I re-apply RainX plastic often, and I also apply it as per the instructions. I do tend to go through it quickly but in this industry we need to keep our winshields spotless for obvious reasons. This product is cheap insurance in my mind. Strongly recommend

It works like it said it would and glad to have a rainx product for plastic now. Still collects in mist though, but easier to wipe off and works like it should in rain

Used this on some brand new plexiglass and it was not as effective at shedding water as i had originally hoped it would have been.

Used on my boat windshield. It definitely made a difference when trailering my boat. Cleaning the bugs off after was MUCH easier than before I put this on.

I was having a terrible time seeing out of the plastic shield I installed on the front of my motorcycle. Everytime it rained it fogged up or when it was raining you couldn’t see through it. I used this stuff and it’s been a great improvement.

Works great! I use it on my motorcycle helmet visors to clean them of fingerprints and bugs. It’s very beneficial to use this product if you get caught in some rain. It keeps the water from sticking and at highway speeds the water just slides off the visor beautifully. Great value!
