    I totally recommend there brakes.
There are not a ton of options out there for smart cars, but these are probably the best choice you can make.
They grip good, don’t rust very much, and look cool.
I found they brake very hard at first, but if you do the instructed break-in procedure that stops and they work great.

I’ve put about 3,000 miles on them now and have had no regrets.

Suena mucho y no mejoran el frenado

  3. Ureshii Suika

This rotor, due to its smaller size, does not have center venting like larger rotors and therefore makes a clicking sound as the holes pass the pads. Not unexpected but louder than most.

  4. Ureshii Suika

    It was a perfect fit.

I feel the difference in stopping power.
They do make noise that only can hear it if the vehicle window is open and driving by something the reflects the sound.
I don’t hear it at all while the window is close and the radio is off. So it has no effect to listening to your music.

I ordered my first set and they weren’t matching. Totally different metals & machining. The blueish one had surface rust on it. I requested a second set and BOTH have surface rust and pitting. One even looks like they knew about it, used a wire wheel and polished that area of it and still let it get sent out. I’ll be looking for another name brand because I’m imagining these have ALL been on shelves for quite some time.

If you can instal them yourself, you’ll save yourself 200 bucks for installment. They sound great when they’re on and breaking them in was easy. Great so far, no problems, and they feel great!

They work. But yes as you will read drilled and slotted rotors to make rotational noise

  9. Kal

Great quality. Photo is a year or so in. No lines. Smooth and shiny.

Really noisy, but that’s all drilled rotors. You get used to the buzz.

  10. CSI GROUP

Those were installed in a 2013 Smart Fortwo Passion (Cabrio). There is a clicking/ticking noise as others have pointed out, specifically when the brakes are applied, but I prefer that noise if it comes with safer braking. I did not use the pads that were included with the brake rotors but went instead with Bosch ones. I have also used the same vented/drilled rotors brand for a 1995 Mercedes Benz S500 with no issues as of this moment (installed last year).
