The Purolator air filter, which is made in the USA, appeared well made and fit perfectly (according to my husband, who installed it). It’s too soon to tell if it will increase my gas mileage, but I can already feel the extra power when I accelerate, especially from a full stop. I also passed NJ emissions for another two years.

Filter had good 3rd party reviews, however I could not install in 2011 Ford Edge because gasket was too thick.
