Since there are two cut off switches, I was able to use one for the positive and the other for the negative terminal of the boat. I can shut off the power to the boat to prevent theft and to preserve the battery when storing and also for safety during battery charging. It looks and feels well built and insulated and the switching feels well latched for solid connection. Great buy!

I installed this in a section of my RV so I could turn off battery power to a select section of the 12 volt system. This is so when we switch to 120 volt AC from an inverter, I can limit battery drain by allowing only a portion of the RV to utilize the power. It was easy to install and has a great feel when activating the switch. I’m very pleased!

These PSEQT Battery Disconnect Switches are well made. The fit and finish on them is excellent. I’m planning to use these as battery disconnect switches on a solar generator that I am building. I don’t think I’ll use the removable knob feature on my application, but in some instances that would be an important feature. I noticed that it take a little more force than I was expecting in order to turn the switch to the ON position, but for a battery disconnect switch, that’s probably a good thing. The amount of force required is not objectionable, it’s just a little more force than is required to turn the switch to the OFF position. Be aware when ordering that the switch is rated for 50 Amps, and the terminal studs are size M4x2, so these studs are not sized to handle a very large battery cable. All in all, I’m quite happy with these switches.

This is a good light duty switch. It installs easily adn the knob has solid movement with easy to identify clicks at each setting. Works well as a main on/off for power delivery.
