This motor fit exactly and functioned perfectly! In fact, it is no different from the OEM equipment. My buddy who has a similar vehicle, with a similar issue, is convinced I can actually do some car work. LOL! I am purchasing a second unit for my buddy’s car to fix his! 🙂

After waiting a month after receiving this when I finally got time to work on it, installed it, and it didn’t work at all! No issue with the wiring or fuse in the truck. It has been returned.

it appears to be the same quality as OEM. you have to reuse the mounting bracket off of your old motor which is fine. I wish it would have come with the plastic nut on the exterior of the vehicle, but I’m sure it might be different for other applications. I used it on a 2008 Trailblazer. Perfect plug and play. the biggest issue I had was that the plastic housing came broken. not too happy about that. i just wrapped some electrical tape around it to hold it in place seeing that it won’t see any water. other than that, my rear wiper is working again.

I installed this wiper motor on the rear of my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. Was not hard to install and has worked just fine so far.

I took a chance on this replacement motor despite some of the other reviews. It was either this or a used one, which was actually more expensive! I added some grease at the top of the shaft to prevent corrosion, which is where these always seize. I also used a new arm and wiper blade assembly also bought from Amazon.
If you install it and it doesn’t work, check to make sure the top latch switch is properly installed and working. Without it, it will think the glass is open and won’t let the wiper work, which may be why some have reported that theirs didn’t work at all. There are two switches that could prevent the wiper motor from working, the top latch switch for the glass and the lower switch/lock for the entire rear hatch. If either doesn’t register that they’re closed, the motor won’t come on.
Update: 2024-12-12: So it wouldn’t work once the truck was turned off. So it will work when initially plugged in and that drive but after an ignition off, it won’t work again until it’s unplugged and replugged. So in other words, it needs to be completely reset before each drive. Returning.

Programming error in the electronic board for this wiper motor, after you turn off switch, and/or shut off ignition, wiper will cycle once, and NOT return to the park position. Buy the AC Delco wiper motor and you won’t have a problem.
