Ridiculous. I Drain my oil and go to put new filter on and it isn’t the same size. Really? But it says will fit my truck. So I had to walk to auto parts store to get the right one.

Before ordering, I entered my vehicle and engine into the Amazon part verifier to be sure the part is right.
Now anything I look for in automotive is automatically verified whether it will fit or not. I had concerns that a filter number I was used to was not in the listing and would not fit my 2014 Explorer with a V6. When the filter arrived I checked it with another know filter that fit and it looked for sure the hole size was wrong. This was just an optical illusion due to the different construction. Hole size was verified with a caliper and the feel of screwing it on felt right.
The filter comes shrink wrapped to keep out contamination. You could see the orange silicone check valve and the filter length was a little longer. With my engine there is no interference problem and it could be much longer without a problem. This length makes me believe there is a little more filter surface area. Thes filter appears to be well made and would have no issue in getting another one when the time comes.

Was searching for a good reliable long life filter that was more economical than the name brands without the price. I did a bunch of rearch and these are made(atleast in my area) by bosch. I also cut one open to see what it looked like compared to a bosch and you cant tell much difference. I cant say how the pleats filtered but the quality looks impressive and for the price you cant beat it. Just the weight of the part lets you know its made well

Case seems tough, no issues, same size as fl500.
Says good for 10000 miles but I change my oil at 5000.
I use the motorcraft or this depending on price.

I ordered this oil filter for my 2014 Chevy Silverado. This filter matches the other aftermarket and OEM filters I have been using. The only perceptible difference is the logo and other brand markings on the canister.
It’s challenging to rate an oil filter because I don’t have an objective way to compare one with another. I change my oil every 5,000 miles, making it easy to remember. I also do my tire rotation at the same time. This filter has a 10,000-mile rating, so I am not concerned with its ability to remove small particles. When I remove this filter, I plan to cut it open to see how the filter element performs. If I find anything noteworthy, I will update my review.
Oil filter prices have steadily risen, and some brands are considerably more expensive. However, this filter’s price is a little below some of the competition, making it a cost-effective alternative for me in the future.
I am enthusiastic about this filter and will consider ordering more based on my experience.
