    I had been having ignition issues with my B2200. Being a newb with repairs, I set out to replace all the parts that could be the issue since it’s a 30 year old truck and likely needs the new parts anyway.

    This Ignition Control Module was easy to install! Probably took me 10 minutes but would be closer to 3-5 now that I know how to do it.

    Ultimately, it was not the issue but it works perfectly fine! So I’m going to keep it in. I’ll keep the old one in case something happens to this one. I’ve only had it about a week. I’ll be sure to update if anything else comes up with it. So far so good though!

    The issue on my truck was all carb related. Mainly, that it wasn’t properly set for the Fast Idle upon Ignition and setting the butterfly valves correctly. I used to turn the key and only heard a Click. This would have to be done multiple times before it got going. I originally thought it was an electrical problem but apparently not!

    I bought this product, hoping it would be a good cheap alternative checked the resistance soon as I took it out of the box, and the resistance is higher than the defective one that came out of the vehicle. Do not waste your money!
