Very nice looking product. Very easy to install. Pull the ac compressor move it out of the way. Pull the little fuel line and pull out the stock fuel rail fitting and replace with this one. The size of the hole is noticeably larger on the new one. 2004 lly

A big difference in the size of the whole between stock and this fitting took about a half hour to install

Okay, I just got done installing this on my truck. Not a hard job at all it took about 30 min total I only installed it on the drivers side it’s the only one that needs to be replaced if anyone is wondering. Now, let’s gets down to does this fitting make a difference all I can say is HELL YES! The throttle response is where you see a difference it is amazing it’s now very touchy and quick on take off. This part changed the way the truck drives totally and for some reason the trans shifts a lot smoother. My truck is stock with no tuner sporting 200k miles. I use my truck to tow a 11k fifth wheel and I’m heading on a trip in about 3 weeks and I will update how it did for all my fellow camper haulers. I did also install the PPE fuel relief valve before I did this and that made the motor run stronger and made it feel healthy so that’s another part I would recommend along with this part.

So I am very happy with the product, it helped a lot with stabilizing my fuel pressure and making sure the injectors are well fed. It also got rid of an annoying surge when i first hit the pedal. Essentially when I would initially hit the go pedal the truck would lurch then seemingly run out of fuel and come alive again once the computer has a moment to figure out the pressure dropped. Now, it just keeps pulling all the way through. My only frustration is that I was unaware there are 2 in the truck, probably my fault for not reading, and yes you can do the easier one alone, as this has the larger impact, but i don’t like not having a balance in fuel rails. If you decide to do this on your Duramax get 2 and be patient, they are challenging. you can (on the 2005 at least) do the passengers by removing the alternator, removing some bolts from the coolant lines and being a little creative with sockets (thin wall) and “negotiating” the fuel lines out of the way. it’s a real annoyance to do but it’s doable. Just be careful not to crack a fuel line.

Worked good on my 07 classic LBZ. Although it did not fix my P0087 code, some how it did seem to provide better pedal response. Easy part to change out.

This worked out great for keeping fuel flow consistent in my fuel rails on my LLY duramax!
