these puppies stop right and effectively. I had severe brake judder issues on the Driver side rotor, had to get a replacement from Rock Auto thru warranty, changed it and changed the brake pads with these Raybestos’ on both sides. I wanted to see if I could still use the passenger side rotor, So I tested these pads for a few hours but still found that the right rotors had mild to moderate brake judder, so I had to wait another couple days to receive the passenger side. Driving the vehicle with a brand new rotor and one old one was still great. These pads grabbed on well and the passenger side pads had no wear that was conforming with the grooving i was seeing on the rotor. So no damage done since i was braking lightly till I received the replacement.. Once I i changed the rotor, brake judder disappeared for passenger side as well.
Disclaimer: I do not recommend ever mixing old and new parts like i did above, unless you are very familiar with your vehicle, the way it behaves, and your general mechanic confidence in gauging the longevity of parts.

I have tried many different brake pads over the years, but I am very impressed with these Z23s.
It is hard to express how difficult it is to impress me, but these pads far exceeded my expectations. After following the manufacturers recommendations to properly bed in the new pads, these things are a noticeable improvement!
Nearing the end of pad life on the factory original set, I began to search for a replacement. The stock set would fade a bit as you decelerated aggressively at and near the end of an exit ramp. But consistently that fade was in the last 10 to 20 feet, and predictable.
These new Z23s feel like they improve the stopping power deeper into the braking zone. There is no fade anymore, even fully loaded with gear and people…these pads boost your confidence, helping you know when and where you’ll stop. These are awesome!
I had clean rotors and replaced the original pads that had 4mm of pad life left. I did not turn the rotors…they were clean, true and bedded in very well.
I would definitely but these again!

Not sure how the brakes are but amazon compatibility says it fits 2017 Toyota Rav4 but these doesn’t fit. Notches on sides are 1/8 bigger than the original PADS.
Tried for couples of hours to make it fit.
Don’t buy for Toyota Rav4.

Edit: After noticing that the backing plates had fallen off the pads due to the excessive play, I contacted PowerStop. They told me there was nothing they could do because I’m out of the warranty period. So, they won’t warranty their factory defects. My recommendation is AVOID BUYING POWERSTOP.
Short answer: Power Stop’s poor attention to detail means these pads shift around during use, causing clunking noises while driving.
Full explanation: After installing these pads and bedding them in accordance with official instructions (included), I began hearing a clunking noise upon engaging the brakes at low speeds. Maybe a caliper bolt came loose, I thought. But when I checked all the bolts were tight, I was puzzled. I kept driving and trying to ignore the noises.
After long enough, I became very annoyed and started looking into the issue online. Some others have experienced a problem where the “ears” on the pads are undersized. This allows some play of the pads within the calipers, which causes the pads to shift during use. Not a safety concern, from what I can tell, but extremely annoying driving at low speeds. Just going over bumps triggers the clunk. I can confirm in my Scion TC that these particular pads are undersized, and thus can shift around inside the caliper.

Easy to install and break in. So far pads seem to be excellent.
