I ordered the front and rear to improve the performance, however be cautious in item descriptions, the rear portion did not match my vehicle and called the customer support, they acknowledged the wrong number part of my order which I followed from amazon itself, returned it, the thing i lost is time because having an appointment for installation is another element i don’t have, I rescheduled for another appointment for the rear installation, it a waste of my time..

Delivered last night and installed them this morning on my 2013 Xterra X 4×4. Brakes pads and discs worked great. The brake lube packet that comes with the kit is (in my opinion) not enough.
UPDATE April 11,2019:
I have driven about 6000 miles since installing (Oct.25, 2018) this brake kit and everything looks and feels great. Will be purchasing a front and rear kit for a 2007 Honda Accord very soon for a family member’s car.

The rotors and brakes work great and look very nice on the vehicle. These are specified that there for daily driver cars not for race vehicles. I like the fact that they specify that in their product information section. Slotted and drilled rotors do not add extra performance they just make it so you don’t lose performance. I did have an issue with one of the rotors that was past the 30 days with Amazon so I had a contact powerstop directly. Customer service asked a few questions and for some information from me and after one day they responded and then sent me out a new pair of rotors. Highly recommend these rotors for your daily driving vehicle not a race car.

2006 Nissan Frontier V6 SE – I don’t drive very fast or break very fast, but I can say that the braking action is very smooth and very quiet, so my wife and I are happy campers! Speaking of which, we use our Frontier to pull a 3800lb fiberglass RV, so having these drilled, slotted, and vented brakes gives us extra confidence while towing.

This is the second set of Power Stop brakes I’ve installed on 2 different Xterra’s. A real noticeable improvement over OEM brakes especially when pulling trailers or off-roading. Installed easily, low dust generation, run true even through hard braking. Have not experienced and warpage over time with prior installations. Would recommend for OEM replacement.

It appears to be very good and stopping power is good but no more than OEM.
The rotor walls are thinner than that of the front and the pads are smaller so don’t be alarmed when you receive them; they will fit.
I guess you have to be prepared to replace both rotor and pad when they wear out.
Mine are starting to show signs of rust and they are only a couple of months, so I may have to paint them but apart from that they are ok.
Important! Do not forget to adjust the parking brake shoes before putting on the pads. If you don’t, the parking brakes will not hold.

Update: Started to feel pedal pulsation around the 25,000 mile mark. By 35,000 miles the rotors were thoroughly warped and shaking the whole truck like crazy any time the brakes were applied. Tons of material left on the pads.
I was hesitant to buy these because of the low price but I figured they were worth a shot. Read all reviews for my Frontier as well as all other models that they are available for.
What to expect:
First of all, I replaced front and rear at the same time. (I purchased them separately because it was $12 cheaper than the full set.) The issues I experienced are probably magnified since I had four brand new sets of brakes all at once.
Installation and break in were very straightforward. IMPORTANT – During the break in procedure, these brakes have about half the stopping power of OEM brakes. Don’t run over a curb because of the increased stop distance!
I cleaned all of the factory grease out of the caliper sliders and replaced it with Permatex Extreme Performance Ceramic Synthetic (purple in color). Also used this to grease the sliding points on the pads. Good stuff.
FOR THE FIRST 300-500 miles brake performance is reduced and the grip level is unpredictable. You might step on them and it takes a lot of effort to stop, the next time they might grab like a race car. Generally speaking though during this period they will be very grabby when cold, with grip reducing as they warm up, finally gripping very well when hot.
After approximately 3000 miles mine were pretty much broken in and exceeded the performance of my OEM breaks significantly. I did not buy them specifically because I was looking for a performance upgrade or because I wanted the looks of the drilled and slotted rotors, but those features are a nice bonus. I feel much more confident about being able to stop safely with a fully loaded truck.
5000 mile update: Everything is still shiny and looks brand new. Required pedal effort is lower than OEM brakes and I am very happy with them. The truck did not get washed within this period, and I can say that they do not create any more dust than OEM brakes.
Final word: Only negative is that the first couple of stops on cold brakes require slightly more pedal pressure. I hardly even notice. After that they are better than OEM in every way possible. I’ll probably pick up a set for my other vehicle when needed.
