I have a 2007 Tundra and the original rotors warped a few months after purchase.

I finally got tired of the “stuttering stops” last fall and ordered this kit from Amazon. I found a PDF on how to perform the replacements and completed on my own.

This kit definitely got rid of the wobbles and I’ve been happy with their performance these past few months.

I only held back on 5 stars because I felt like I would get better braking performance out of these. Instead, the braking distance is about on par with the original equipment. It’s no complaint though, since this kit was less expensive than turning the original rotors, which probably would have warped again anyway.

Good product, Brakes very well. Wouldn’t say they are better then factory but for the price I can’t complain.

Purchased for my crewmax with 50k miles on it as it had the same issue that everyone else has with this truck in that the front brakes warp. Have around 1000 miles and so far very good brakes. Truck does stop better and there is no dust. I did a lot of research on these and this is the best deal by far on a good replace, ent for the Orem brakes.

I did have a little problem getting them seated when first installed. Took a little longer then normal but that can be expected with this type of pad.

Don’t go oem or buy from oriely, autozone, etc, buy these you’ll. be much happier.

I’ve been doing brake & rotor jobs on my cars for over 20 yrs. I bought this package in July 2019 due to some of the recommendations from the Sequoia owners in the Tundra forum. We’ve put about 10k miles on the wife’s Sequoia and the rotors are warped and pulsing w/front end shake (classic signs). I’m now deciding to replace the rotors with the same Bosch rotors I used on my Tundra this summer (which have performed flawlessly even after towing a few trailered cars across the state). I bet that Power Stop (or other users) will think that the break-in period was not performed correctly, etc.. But I followed the guidelines specifically and likewise did similar with my (non Power Stop) Tundra. 7 months later my Tundra performs well with the Bosch rotors and the Sequoia with Power Stops are getting replaced.

I am driving my 4th Toyota Sequoia now. The car has a serious problem with warping front rotors. I have driven each of the four cars 120-180k miles, and they have all warped the front “stock” rotors at least twice each, roughly 30-40k miles each time. The dealership was replacing them, until the dealership changed hands and the new owners would not provide the support (on my #3 Sequoia). So, I bought Power Stop and installed them myself. I drove that first set on #3 over 80k miles without any further issue. When my #4 warped at 32k miles, and the dealer again denied coverage, I put on Power Stop again. They feel so much stronger and smoother than stock brakes, and they last under the hard driving I do. Never looking back, no regrets. The price/value is awesome. I can replace a front set for half of what a regular brake job costs at the dealership, and that’s without new rotors.

  6. Amazon Customer

got this K2950 power stop package for my 2007 Tundra, steering wheel was pulsating at highway braking.
Satisfied so far – fast delivery to my door, rotors are in bulk packaging though. Origin is not specified anywhere on package so I assume it is made in China.
As for rotors and brake pads themselves – they look of decent quality, working fine after broken in, no noise, smooth and responsive braking. Time will show how they perform in a long run.

    UPDATE
after couple of weeks noticed a scraping noise from pass side, found a little bump on the rotor’s edge (shown on picture attached), apparently production defect or transportation damage. Sent request to AutoPartsWAY (Canada). Hoping for fast resolution. Don’t like the deal anymore.

I put these brakes (pads and rotors) on my 2011 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7 Gas. Perfect fit. Easy job. About 45 minutes per wheel and taking it slow and sure. Broke in the brakes as instructed. (Got them nice and HOT). So far, they work great. Good stopping power. No warping (of course time will tell) with about 5k miles on them. Daily driver. The rotors look good too! At $190 and a little of my time, it was a WHOLE lot cheaper than having the dealer do it.

  8. Adrian Pitts

Put these on in Jan 2020. Great so far. I live atop a small mountain and had chewed through a set of cheap rotors in a few months after purchasing my new (to me) 2013 Tundra. I replaced them with the Power Stop rotors on the front and back. Did the break-in as recommended. They have held up very well over the past 8 months. No noise, no vibration, great stopping power on a heavy truck. When they are used up, I will likely replace them with the same.

  9. BornSlippyZ

I have had these on for two months on my 2012 Sequoia. Daily driving and towing my boat. Stops well and hardly any brake dust. But honestly I was happy to get rid of the OEM disc that warp quickly. Thanks Amazon for the good price, will buy again!

Update! Almost a year and mixed driving/towing a boat. I also drive a bit hard and these brakes keep up just fine. Now I do realize my Sequioa is 7000lbs and my brake rotors do heat up. I have noticed a few times a little ‘noise’ coming from the brakes under very hard braking. After a few minutes the brakes cool and go back to performing normally. But I noticed this even after just putting these on when they were new. OEM lasted 26k before they were warped badly. I see lots of folks not liking this product and maybe my brakes will only last this year but so far so good.

  10. HERMAN

I’d suggest putting the pads in the calliper before bolting it on the truck – the clips are finicky
