If you’re replacing/upgrading your brakes on your daily, I recommend these. I have a stock 06 Civic. These brakes look sporty enough, and from what I can tell they stop equal-to if not better than the oem set. I haven’t taken them to a track, but they do work great when I open up the throttle on a spirited late night drive. Haven’t heard any noise from them at all. Still shining like new, no rust. Kit comes with all the clips, grease, and new slide pin boots. I’m very pleased, great oem replacement!

Worked great for six months. Less than 1 year and replacing everything again. Pads worn and rotors warped after 9 months of mostly hiway driving. Premium rotors and pads from Carquest for $180 will last longer. No need for cross drilled or slotted rotors for a commuter.

Direct fit and a hell of an improvement over stock. I bought and installed on my girl friends 2010 civic her 3rd set of brakes as she tends to drive that car like its stolen despite being paid for and the cost difference is more then made up for in the quality of braking. The rotors are good and thick and heavy and the pads had minimal break in time. After a few miles they were buttery smooth and so much more confident. Very happy with these and I will be buying this brand again for all my toys. 20 percent more then OEM and twice the quality. Seriously give these a shot you will be glad you did.

These rotors come in good packaging, The pads come with hardware kit. In the hardware kit you will have 8 peaces. If you check the number stamped on them you will see that 4 have the same number and the other four have a different number. They look almost exactly the same BUT they are not. You just need to use the one that fits your calipers by trying one of each number. The one that fits will fit easily with no hassle. once you know which one fits just use the other 3 that have the same number stamped on it.
I’ve had these now for about two weeks and it seems like the braking is getting better each day.
My only complaint would be that the rotors are pretty heavy. How heavy…I don’t know. I just know they are heavier than the ones I took off that were stock. I don’t race my car though so I can’t say it makes much difference. And I don’t notice a decrease in MPG either.
Overall, a good buy!

12/1/2017 – brake pads finally wore down to the metal. It took 3 years. Started hearing groaning noises when braking. The wear indicators had snapped off around Jan or Feb 2017. Left the rotors as is with no resurfacing or replacement because there was no warping or scoring.
Purchased 9/2014 – Review for front brakes on a 2009 Honda Civic EX – My brakes were worn out on the front at 52,000 miles. I replaced them with these and I have been very satisfied. There were no problems with installation and the parts fit exactly as the previous stock OEM’s. If you install these pads YOU MUST BREAK THEM IN! The new pads made an unsettling shuddering when I dropped my car and backed out of the driveway, but after about 10 or 15 stops the noise is completely gone and the pads have been fantastic ever since. I do not drive my vehicle on a track and I don’t routinely switch about out the brakes so I can’t offer a comparison from that viewpoint. In addition, these are stock rotors in 15 inch rims on a Honda Civic so you won’t get that Corvette or Viper look. However, I would definitely recommend buying these rather than paying the same amount of money and getting rotors without the cross drill/slots.

Only thing that is missing are general instructions that state that you may have extra parts due to the fact that this kit works for many vehicles. In my case there were extra clips that just ended up in the trash. The factory stated that the kit has a bag of clips for front and rear disk brakes but in my case only the front are disk and the rear are drums.
These pads do require a break in period so the first few hundred miles they will take longer to stop but after that the brakes work great and keep braking even with repeated heavy braking back to back.

For 20% less than replacing with stock parts you can upgrade to these beauties! And WOW WOW WOW are they amazing! Smooth quiet stops with far less peddle pressure and effort. Low dust on the wheels and did I mention they stop very strong and fast! I can’t recommend these highly enough! I also have the upgrade for the rear brakes and will also add them! Rear rotors and pads also added and just as amazing as the front set! I highly recommend getting the full kit as my rubber pin bushings were completely shot on the OEM brakes. Plus all the parts from Power Stop are premium quality!

I found these brakes a few years ago and have never looked back. Once installed they last for at least a year and provide even braking throughout the lifetime of the set. These are usually less than the cost of standard brakes and rotors from most brick and mortar chain stores and provide terrific stopping performance.

The rotors and pads fitted perfect on my 2006 Honda Civic LX.
At the time I bought this kit, they were only $20 over a regular set of brakes (not high performance). Believe me, those extra $20 bucks were worth every single penny! The brakes look good and the stopping power has improved a lot over the stock brakes. I have changed brakes before and never noticed a difference, but this time I was amazed. Also, the installation was a snap and both, rotors and pads fitted like a glove.
The kit consist of two rotors, four pads and 2 hardware kits (a.k.a pad retainers) of different size. You will need to buy some grease for ceramic brakes in order to complete your job.
The kit also came with an instruction sheet on how to install them and with the recommendation for the break-in period. It is very important to follow the latter in order to prevent the rotors from a possible warping.
I will definitely used this kit again and recommend it to my friends.
