The product was good when I initially purchased but over time two issues showed up:
1) The ratcheting function to clamp in the phone is randomly problematic. Over time the ratchet feature will not work. To get the ratcheting to lock the phone in place requires rapidly moving the arms in / out until the arms engage to lock the phone in place. This could take 5,10, or more in/out repetitions. And while trying do this it’s difficult to hold the phone in place.
2) The rotation function can get very stiff to when trying to rotate or adjust. There is no way to slightly loosen to give it more freedom of movement.
I’m going to have to find another holder that will hopefully have a better clamping function.
Note: that I have never had an issue with the suction cup function to the top of my dash as some report. I think that those having issues either did not clean the dash prior to mounting or did not compress the lever completely for the suction cup to clamp to the dash.

I did a bunch of research and settled on this. I love it – it sticks very well, is fully adjustable and grips my iPhone 13 Pro snugly. It is also unobtrusive leaving my dash uncluttered. I feel bad because I didn’t understand the base locking lever and thought it was broken or missing only to discover upon receiving the replacement that it was correct to start with! My apologies to the seller and Amazon for my mistake. I appreciate Amazon and I really do love this phone holder.

I love this one! We’ve had it for a few months now. It’s on the dash, and the suction is strong. It has shown no tendency to come off at all. What I really like is how it has a long reach, bringing your phone much closer to you when you’re driving than our previous one did. It’s very easy to insert your phone. Just place it in the stand and squeeze the sides together. It holds the phone well while driving. When I exit the car, it’s easy to release and grab your phone. Simply push the little button on the side, and the grabbers spring open, letting go of your phone. So far so very good!

For the price it’s pretty good. Doubtful it will last long. Pretty flimsy, but stable while driving. Doesn’t seem like it would stick on a textured surface. Luckily I have a flat surface to mount it on

I’d needed a mount forever. My last one broke. So I was out looking for good quality at the price. I purchased this for like $15-16 before price dropped on it! I fell in love as soon as it was in my car. I use navigation all the time and have an infant in my back seat so not only due to the law, I HAVE to be hands free for him. This was the perfect solution. No slipping of the adjustment knobs, no sticking on the button to release the phone. Has not popped off the window in Georgia 98 degree weather. My family ended up buying 2 more for other vehicles!

I’ve had it almost as long as I’ve had my car and I’ve never had any issues with the adhesive or grip on my phone. Easy to install and holds the phone how I want it to.

I’m not sure about the other complaints with this phone mount? I have it on my windshield and it’s fantastic. It has never fallen off and I love its ability to turn sideways. I have a Pixel Pro 8 and it supports the weight fine.

Works well, put in on my window up off of my dash from the hot Florida sun. Sticks really well to windshield .. easy to put phone on and take out! Easy to adjust ..
