An excellent upgrade on my 68 Cadillac. Install is super easy, check the timing, put the dist cap back on and forget it. Well worth the price. Cheaper than the tow home when the points burn up.. ask me how I know haha

Installing a PerTronix Ignition in my 283 Chevy, make sure if you engine was 8 cylinder using 1.5ohm coil, it’s working very well .recomand!

Easy to install, and works perfectly. My 69 Chevelle SS396 would not run at all. Existing points were trashed. Replaced with these with ease…..no dwell angle to mess with. Great product and excellent support if you have any installation questions.

I should have purchased this YEARS ago. I installed on a 1966 Pontiac. It hesitated terribly when accelerating from idle. If you gunned it, it would even stall. Instantly cured. Runs smoothly. Accelerates cleanly. Installation basically consists of terminating 2 wires on to your coil. If you are keeping a car old enough to have points running, you should be able to handle this easily. The ease/difficulty will be determined by the accessibility of your distributor. Highly recommended. The only clue you aren’t running a stock setup is the 2nd wire running from the distributor to the coil.

If you’re still using points don’t hesitate and buy this now! I thought I bought the wrong one but I was lining it with the wrong holes. Easy install and a world of difference. Also swap coil and adjust spark plug gaps. Using on boat, chevy 350

The point on my 69 DeVille had about 8,000 miles on them, and thankfully stop working in my driveway. I made the swap, along with the matching coil, any paid a mechanic to adjust the timing. My car runs great. I noticed from a cold start, my car start easier. I definitely recommend this item.

Installed one of these 22years ago when I restored my 66 Pontiac lemans. It was getting tired noticed by how many revolutions the engine had to make before it would fire. Installed the new one and the engine starts immediately now.
