What a curious and useful little general scraping and cleaning item this is.
I ordered both the short handled version with five blades and the longer handled version with only two blades.
Instead of being oh so very careful with a sharp, steel, single edge razor blade, you can use this hard plastic razor for little jobs around the shop, house and kitchen and be almost totally clumsy and useless, causing no damage to even the most delicate items or yourself unless, of course, you qualify for beyond the definition of idiot proof.
The hard plastic, orange blades are double edged, slotted and the same size as regular single edge razor blades. The blades will fit the simple little hardware store razor scraper holders which most folk have knocking about somewhere. Also fit the KD Tools holders for you more serious types.

I originally used this to remove left over gasket material during auto repairs, but I’ve used it a number of times around the house when I didn’t want to damage the surface. The last time I used it was to remove melted glue sticks from the inside of the dryer drum. Worked perfectly!

I use this for lighter duty jobs like removing labels from product packaging, cardboard boxes, and plastic bottles. It works very well and is very well designed. The long handle gives better control and ability to apply force than the mini razor blade scrapers. I was using this alongside the Scotty Peeler and testing each against one another. I much prefer this one, for three reasons 1) the blade is replaceable 2) the blade is over 2 times wider so it works faster and 3) I found that this scraper ends up with very little adhesive stuck to it because the surface area that contacts the label is very small, compared to a Scotty Peeler which lays flat against the surface and ends up covered in adhesive on both the top and bottom of the blade, and therefore slows the job and also requires cleaning. This blade requires minimal to no cleaning after use.

I consider this a one-time use disposable. 3-star for the price, 2-star otherwise. Not good for removing gaskets, but the plastic is way too soft. Builds up/tears/bends/dents/ruins blades very quickly and does not appear to keep straight. Also, you’d think they could give you at least three of the double-sided blades? I barely was able to use it for 1 gasket job before ruining both blades (4 sides). We’re really talking blades here… scraper seems fine, but nothing to hold on to forever though and easily fills with crap where they hollowed it out.

I had seen a Youtube video about the Silhouette Cameo and the presenter mentioned that this device was the best way to remove all those little unwanted pieces of paper that remained on the sticky pad when you removed the cut piece that you wanted.
I looked for it at Amazon, found it and ordered it. Indeed, this is truly the best device to remove those orts of paper that remain without damaging the mat. It saves hours of picking at the pieces to remove them one-by-one.
I wish I could remember the name of the person on the video to thank her for her advice.
The thing about this device is that the plastic blade is completely safe, yet effective. It does not damage the mat and is safe to have around children and pets and even clumsy me who could so easily slip while holding the mat and cut myself.
All-in-all, a great device that is very effective for my purposes as a crafter.

This item is great for automotive use and home use. I find it easily removes most gaskets without damaging the host or causing scratches to the surface.

This is a pretty good product, especially if you consider how much it’s going to cost in you use a metal blade or tool and end up damaging a housing that you’ll have to pay to replace. It does an ok job removing a gasket (what I bought it for) and cleaning the residue left behind, but the blades are damaged very quickly. It’s probably a good bit more handy removing stuck-on labels, old tapes and stickers, especially with a bit of Goo Gone thrown into the mix. Sure, it’s a bit flimsy and probably even a little bit overpriced, but it’s still a whole lot more useful that a lot of other things I’ve got in my tool box.

Having used razor blades or scrapers with razor blades for a variety of uses, including removing gasket material from engines, etc. this item is a perfect solution! You can’t cut your fingers like a razor blade. It comes with a spare “blade” in case you wreck the first one. And it’s from a reputable quality manufacturer so you know that it’s semi-professional!
