Does what they are meant to do. Of course over 15-20 years the rubber strap over the top of the battery might deteriorate but you may not own the car then.

This product is made of inferior rubber, as is so often the case these days. The rubber checked and cracked in less than a year, even though never exposed to sunlight. Keep looking for something better.
