Perfect-It 3M Machine Polish, silicone-free. That last bit is important if you work in cramped quarters. Keeping silicone away from your paint/prep area is vital if you don’t want to be fighting fisheyes in your finishes. I like the simple one-stage compound, perfect for cutting and buffing on new paint. I cut all the way to 3000 grit minimum, and often further than that, so a bit of Perfect-It on foam bonnets looks slick in no time.

This is a glaze not a cutting agent, it actually hides imperfections in the paint and body work. And WOW does it bring out the depth in dark colors. It really enhances the color, its like wet sanding and putting 10 coats of clear on. I highly recommend using the entire 3M perfect-it system to get the most benefits from this product. It will work fine by itself just like the hand glaze, but it works better when you start with an already very fine prepped surface from the 3M ultra fine machine polish or 3M machine polish. 3M compounds are far easier to work with and clean up. They also work much quicker with less effort to achieve the results. Its a waste of money and time to use anything else, unless of course you want a sub par or good enuff result. This will make it look better than factory and not just a little better, this is competition show car level. Head turner for sure. I used to be a Mothers and Meguire’s user

What else can you say about a 3M product other than they are the best in the business easy to use cut and polish and buff and you get a nice finish
