The small wire that connects underneath can ground out on the head . This is caused because the devise is generally larger than the OEM part

The media could not be loaded.
Definitely fixed the issue I was having. Old coils were breaking down after the engine warmed up

I like that it came with the spark, plug boot and plug wire, cover to protect it from the heat shield

This part solved my problem. Fit perfectly and put tractor back into service.

Watched as my mechanic had to spice wires to make it fit. Also, the plug-in is underneath making it a little more difficult.

Fixed my problem. Back to cutting grass.

Coil was arranged different than the original. Small “ground wire” was not long enough to reach the tab on the coil. I extended the wire, engine started right up.
