  1. Tony Gunk

Fit well, helped with transmission problems on my Pontiac Montana SV6.

  2. PartCartography

Needed to use this part to replace the OEM ones on my 2005 Monte Carlo, the transmission was shifting very harshly. We tried several fluid flushes and the problem was still there. Used this part and the harsh shift went away. this part was replaced at 205k miles.

  3. gowinsb

    Fit gm Pontiac like original

  4. E. Clark

I had a code for a bad torque clutch converter solenoid and decided to replace everything I could while I was in there and the parts are cheap. After installing the tcc, 2 shift solenoids and pressure control solenoid my car has never ran better

  5. kwacasey

Worked as expected…had to remove the fluid pump to access the removal clip, but otherwise just as easy as other solenoids, to swap…on my 2001 venture

  6. Mark Pagliai

Went right in, no issues. It’s the OE part so it doesn’t get any better.

  7. Blaza4x4

    Genuine GM works great

  8. Dustin Brown

Worked but came wet with trans fluid, I think it was a reman not brand new

My car threw up an ODB2 code the other day that the torque converter clutch solenoid needed to be replaced in my 4T65E transmission. My all time best tech, Jose, told me to take it to Aamco. So I did. The service manager there had one of the technicians do a complete and thorough diagnostic and inspection of the transmission and took my car for a test drive. The verdict was that the car is 26 years old and the transmission is showing signs of it’s age. It cant be saved. Here is what you need to know. This transmission has been rode hard and put away wet for 26 years. 190,000 miles later, with me driving, it’s showing signs of it’s age. Except for my Mother, nothing has kept up with me for 26 years. I should have taken care of it better but how was I to know back then. My review on this is that the General Motors 4T65E transmission provided me with an excellent service life. I am not taking a chance at a rebuild. I am buying a brand new 4T65E to replace it. 26 years of abuse. The 4T65E transmission is a beast. Long live the King, Thankyou.
